Mrs. Cofresi’s Summer Wedding
Our very own dance instructor, formerly Ms. West, got married this past summer! The venue, Mrs. Cofresi tells us, was Carmel Valley’s Los Laureles Lodge, with the ceremony taking place on top of a hill under a large oak tree. There were 111 guests in attendance, including three bridesmaids and three groomsmen. The matron of honor was Mrs. Cofresi’s best friend from college, and the groomsmen included the two brothers of Mr. Cofresi along with one of Mrs. Cofresi’s. The wedding decorations included signs handmade by the bride and groom themselves painted with romantic Disney quotes, as they’re both major Disney fans. The decorations coordinated well with the theme colors of sage green, dusty blue, and gold, but the real centerpiece of the ceremony was Mrs. Cofresi herself, in a flattering two-piece gown all the way from Paris! Asked how she felt on her wedding day, Mrs. Cofresi stated, “I felt absolutely amazing on the wedding day because I was surrounded by the people I love most, and my new very large family. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel special and well-loved. It felt like it was truly meant to be.” Mrs. Cofresi has known her husband for 15 years, and they started dating while working at summer camps together. Married life started fast for the Cofresis, moving on campus with their dog, Bella, just two days after their wedding. When asked what she would remember most from her wedding in thirty years, Mrs. Cofresi replied, “I will remember how good I felt, how great we all looked, and how much we loved each other on that day.” Congratulations to the Cofresis on a beautiful wedding, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
